From the 9th until the 11th of November, here in Delhi, hindu's families are celebrating the festival of Diwali in the honor of the goddess of wealth Lakshmi.
The interior of the houses is consequently adapted to this moment of praying.the family is gathered in a room, sitting on the floor without shoes around the created altar for that event. some
statues are present and a priest is recitating some texts in hindi in front of the people who eventually give present to the goddess.
In the house, some candels, and lights were put everywhere for that particular moment of the year.
In the universary campus, the different hostels where people live have also been decorated by lights, and also by those drawings of colored powder on the floor.
Finally, the main feature of this time is definitely the firecracks tearing the sky and the usual silent and quietness of the Delhi night. Most of the people say that this is nothing comparing to
what happened 5 years ago, but still, there were noises from the dusk to the early morning.
